Five nights in a boutique hotel just minutes from Pacific Ocean, Playa Hermosa Beach, dive shop & dive sites. The hotel has one of the very best restaurants in the area, two pools and bar with stage that often hosts great musical acts.

Transportation to Arenal Volcano is with one of Bill Beard's, English speaking naturalist guides traveling at your pace. All of the accommodations we use have a great view of the volcano.

On your drive toward San Jose. Afterward you will be taken to a your hotel in San Jose, an exciting city with excellent restaurants, night life, casinos, and much more available.

Day 1 (Arrival / Liberia Airport): Arrive by air into Liberia International Airport**. Upon arrival a representative from our ground operator will meet you outside customs and welcome you to Costa Rica. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight at beach hotel in Superior Room.
Day 2: Relax and soak up some rays while enjoying a tropical fruit drink at the bar or enjoy Optional Tours or Activities like Snorkeling or learn to Scuba Dive! (B)
Day 3: Enjoy morning snorkeling, diving, or sleeping in. Have an early lunch today, because you will be picked up at 1 PM for a blast through the Tree-Tops on an exhilarating Canopy Tour. Have dinner in the best restaurant in the area without having to go anywhere.  The Pepper Steak is to die for! (B)
Day 4: Relax on Beach or around the pool or go on one of the Optional Tours available. (B)
Day 5: Add on a Full Day Optional Adventure – ask our agents about Combination or Full Day Tours in the Northwest Pacific area of Costa Rica.  There are several great options (B)
Day 6: Check-Out of your beach hotel early so we can depart by 8 AM for the scenic drive to Arenal Volcano (Drive Time approx. 3-3-1/2 hours). Optional Stop about an hour into the drive for a visit to the PUMA Refuge is a wonderful experience – small donation ($7 PP) is required for vehicle to pass. Great photo opportunities as you get nose-to-nose with jaguars, pumas, and scarlet macaws. You will stop for lunch mid-day and as always your guide will be happy to point out monkeys, sloths, and more along the way to enhance your trip. (If you want to leave a little earlier, you can add on an Optional Tour after arriving in the Arenal area). Check in to the Volcano Lodge. Our Guide will meet you for dinner at Perla’s restaurant, renowned in the area for its simple, elegant cuisine – something for all tastes.  After dinner visit Private Eco Thermales Hot Springs – you have to “know someone” to access this serenely beautiful place. Towels, showers and lockers available. Sit in the invigorating thermal waters or enjoy a cocktail and bask in the tranquility. After you shower/change your guide will drive you to the hotel where you can spend some time gazing at the Volcano from the rocking chairs on your porch or from the group-sized Jacuzzi. (B/L/D)
Day 7: Check out of Volcano Lodge and Depart at 7:20 AM for the action-packed Pure Trek Canyoning tour. Drop down the canyons and through riveting waterfalls – definitely one of the most exciting adventure experiences available in Costa Rica. Lunch is provided at the Pure Trek’s base camp.  After a quick shower and change of clothes you will head off to San Jose.
Check into your chosen San Jose hotel (Hilton Doubletree Cariari, Hotel Grano de Oro, Hotel Bougainvillea). Dinner on own. (B/L)
Day 8 (Departure): Today, you return home in need of another vacation. You won’t soon forget your guide or all of your wonderful experiences in Costa Rica. You will be picked up at your hotel three hours before your flight departure time and taken to the San Jose* (SJO) International airport for your flight home. (B)
